Giving back to the community is so important for a number of reasons! It gives you a sense of purpose, it helps you to gain new perspectives, and it allows you to share your expertise in a way that helps others.
Every year here at di Stefano Landscaping, since we opened our doors for business about 15 years ago, we have picked a volunteer project to complete for a person or business in need. This is something that our owner, Chris di Stefano is passionate about and something he has done since the company was just a one man show. As the company continues to grow, it shouldn’t mean that we stop giving back, it should mean that we give back even more.
To us, giving back is a small way we can show our gratitude for how much support the community has shown us over the years. We understand that without that communal support, we would not be where we are today.

Something we like to share with our team is the wheel pictured below. It is a constant reminder that we all need to support each other because it is that team effort, that allows a business to thrive and grow. Over time, we have come to realize that ultimately, community lives at the center of this support circle.
Giving back to the community allows us to get to know its members, and learn how to best support each other. That gratification and sense of self-purpose creates an everlasting drive to work hard and do better. The cycle of feeling good, working hard, and appreciating the people around you creates the kind of environment that we all want to be a part of.
