Position Summary

di Stefano Landscaping is currently seeking a talented, enthusiastic, and multi-tasking Production Support / Class A CDL Truck Driver. This vital position is responsible for managing the transport and delivery of landscaping equipment and materials to job sites. We are seeking a dependable driver who possesses significant physical and mental stamina to consistently ensure safe, accurate, and on-schedule deliveries. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, efficient, and maintain a clean driving record.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Use your technical knowledge and skills with vehicles and equipment to minimize equipment downtime. This includes:

• Work 40+ hours/week, including occasional early mornings and late evenings
• Assist with fleet and equipment maintenance duties when not making deliveries
• Fully understand how to safely operate all combinations of vehicles and equipment
• Transport and deliver equipment and materials to a variety of jobsites
• Pick up loads and organize materials in an ordered, logical manner
• Safely and efficiently handle and unload equipment and materials at their destination
• Obtain and sign invoices and manifests for inspected pickups and deliveries
• Maintain clear communication with management and field crews
• Perform thorough pre and post trip inspections
• Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered
• Accurately track and report working hours
• Adhere to all company rules and regulations
• Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to weather and road conditions
• Comply with all ICC and DOT regulations
• Make safety a priority at all times

Qualification Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Clean driving record with no moving violations
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Skilled at driving large vehicles
• Alert, focused, and detail oriented
• Physically and mentally fit
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
• Able to operate heavy equipment (skid steer, loaders, mini and large excavators)
• Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
